We want you to have a wonderful and relaxing stay. To keep the apartment comfortable for everyone, please note:

Check-in / Check-out: Self check-in from 2:00 PM; check-out by 10:00 AM (unless pre-arranged).

Smoking: Strictly no smoking inside the apartment. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas of the complex.

Parties & Events: No parties, events, or loud gatherings. Quiet enjoyment of the resort must be respected.

Children: Children are welcome, but please supervise them around the pool and balcony areas at all times.

Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed under body corporate rules.

Air-conditioning: Please turn off when leaving the apartment or if doors and windows are open.

Pool Use: Pool hours are 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM. No glassware in the pool area.

Respect: Please respect neighbors, staff, and other guests — this is a peaceful complex.

Neighborhood overview
Garrick House sits in one of the most desirable pockets of Port Douglas — just one street back from iconic Four Mile Beach and only a short stroll to the heart of Macrossan Street, where you’ll find cafés, boutique shops, restaurants, and bars.

Staying here means you can wander everywhere on foot:

Four Mile Beach is less than a 2-minute walk away.

The Sunday Markets at Anzac Park are a pleasant stroll for local crafts, produce, and food stalls.

Marina precinct for reef trips and sunset sails is also close by.

✨ New for families and fun-seekers: Port Douglas’ brand-new Splash Water Park is set to open at the end of September, just a short walk from Garrick House. This exciting addition will be a fantastic spot for kids (and kids at heart!) to cool off and play.

One of the best parts of staying at Garrick House is how walkable the location is. You’re just steps from Four Mile Beach and a couple of minutes’ stroll to Macrossan Street with its cafés, shops, and restaurants — so most guests find they don’t need a car during their stay.

If you’d like to explore further afield:

Marina/reef trips – about a 10-minute walk

Wildlife Habitat – a quick 5-minute drive or local shuttle ride

Mossman Gorge & Daintree Rainforest – 20–40 minutes by car

Cairns Airport – 1 hour by shuttle or private transfer

Local shuttle buses, bike hire, and taxis/ride share options are all readily available. If you do bring a car, you’ll have the convenience of complimentary undercover parking on site.
