The space
The Sugar Wharf Apartment at Club Tropical is fully self-contained with an induction stove, large fridge and microwave so you can enjoy a home-away-from-home cooked meal. The generous studio space holds a flat-screen TV, King Bed, fold out couch, spacious wardrobe, and a large work space. The spacious bathroom has a large bath and shower, private toilet and a sunny mirror and sink space.

Marvel in your view of the iconic Sugar Wharf and Market Park, just metres from your door. Located in Macrossan Streets entertainment hub, it's not far to stroll for some live music, or listen from your balcony.

Enjoy free Wifi to stay connected to loved ones or keep up with work or binge your favourite shows via your preferred streaming provider on the Smart TV.
The Club Tropical Resort has a beautiful and large pool for guest use, as well as an elevator for convenience.

Having hosted Airbnb guests in their home for over 5 years, Vicki and Byron hold a high standard for what will make a guests stay the best it possibly can be, and this newly acquired apartment is no different. They have lived in this tropical town for more than 30 years, and can offer a 10% discount for tours and activities around town, including trips to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.

Neighborhood overview
Port Douglas is your direct connection to two of the natural wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, making the area a hub for family holidays, weddings and business trips from people all over the world! Being located on the main street of town, you will have over 40 restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, retail shops and tour desks to choose from! Four Mile Beach is just a 10 minute walk, and Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina just 5 minutes from the Sugar Wharf Apartment.
Getting around
Located an hour from Cairns, the best way to venture up to Port Douglas is by hire car, giving you the flexibility to do day trips to the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge or the Tablelands (which are relatively hard to get to without a car). However, there are many bus companies that do door-to-door airport pick-up's and drop-off's, as well as tour companies to take you all over Tropical North Queensland!

Our apartment is located right in town and is walking distance from a many number of the unique activities Port Douglas has to offer.
